Single Interface Provides Company w/ 360 View of Portfolio Operations
LEHI, Utah - IDM, the 2,700 unit multifamily owner/operator based in Vancouver Wash., announced it has selected Entratas platform of technology tools to manage its full scope of operations. Over the last year, the company has transitioned all of its marketing, leasing, accounting and resident functions to the centralized system.
We went with Entrata because we knew it would revolutionize our business, improve our bottom line and give us a 360 view of all of our operations in one place, said Jason Larson, chief strategy officer, IDM.
The Entrata platform brings websites, accounting, utilities, reporting, payments and everything else needed to manage a property to one, single interface. Users are able to sign in once and access all applications and reports in a single database that allows for easy monitoring of an entire portfolio.
The fact that everything is centrally integrated into one spot is the magic of it all, said Larson. Entrata is our best employee. It never calls in sick. It does its job. And, it just goes.
Entrata Core is built around the idea that nothing in accounting or leasing and rents is isolated. Whether accounting, marketing, or operations: all business processes relate to each other. And, the platform is built to bring them all together in the most efficient way possible.
Accounting is accounting. But, there wont be anything to account if we dont evolve our marketing, our customer service, our call center, our websites, the ability for guarantors to sign from states away for their kids. We can do all those things with Entrata, said Larson.
Additionally, the resident facing tools of the platform are allowing leasing agents to better connect with residents at their properties and provide them with the modern technologies they demand.
Most of our residents, its got to be 80 or 90 percent, log in to the ResidentPortal at least once a month. We find that were driving resident retention because of these tools: because we can talk to them so easily, said Larson. Residents feel more of a sense of community because theyre connected with us online. Theyre better served and better taken care of than ever before, and they notice it.
