Recent AP Enhancements to Aid Growth and Stability

Lehi, UTAH - March 18, 2016 - Entrata, multifamilys fastest growing property management technology company, announced today, enhancements to the accounting portion of its property management software and significant milestones in the life of the product since the announcement of its general availability last June.

In the last ten months,Entrata Accounting has grown 98 percent with more than 206,000 units now live on the system. Having seen immense value through pilot programs at select properties, Aspen Heights and Karya Management Company are among those who have increased the number of units using the system this year and are now more fully enjoying the benefits of the centralized accounting technology.

Our software was built organically for the multifamily industry, by the multifamily industry, said Sara Sharpe, vice president of product, Entrata Accounting. Our exponential growth can be explained by the systems nimble architecture and Entratas focus on the user experience. We listen closely to our clients and are able to quickly develop and enhance the software based on their individual accounting needs.

Today, the company currently processes more than 1.3 million invoices (an increase of 101 percent since June) and has computed upwards of 520,000 journal entries (an increase of 95 percent since June).

Through our rollout onto the accounting platform, Entrata really has taken the time to listen and understand our concerns and find a solution, said Jennifer Walker, operations account manager, Aspen Heights, owner/operator of 12,534 student housing beds on Entrata Accounting. They are consistently making the enhancements we request to ease our day-to-day use in the system.

The enhancements, released March 17, are expected to ensure the system is able to continue its upward trajectory and stability. The highlight of the enhancements include:

  • Time-saving features for AP transaction screens with a more streamlined look and feel

  • Customizable routing tags and custom tags for AP transaction screens which bring new dimensions to reporting

  • A more robust tracking system for documents and insurance requirements which can be customized with rule sets and exceptions (Insurance tracking has been replaced by a new compliance tab.)

  • Seamless inter-company reimbursements and bill back functionality
