Job Description: 

The Director of training is responsible to effectively manage the training department to achieve the Services Departmental Objectives: Deliver world-class client experiences, make client services a competitive advantage, and build a foundation to drive ancillary revenue. The Director of Training is also responsible for the creation, strategy, and deployment of all training services at Entrata. These services include but are not limited to: Customer Training, Internal Training, Content creation/management, Learning Management System, and event trainings. Successful candidates in this role will thrive in fast-paced environments and be dedicated to driving training initiatives within the organization.



  • Lead the design, development, implementation, and management of courses and learning programs to serve the needs of Entrata customers, partners, and employees

  • Establish SaaS training best practices to ensure world-class experiences are delivered across the full customer lifecycle, this includes a thorough understanding of adult learning and how to best apply adult learning concepts

  • Establish department operating cadence – key performance indicators, reward system, status reporting, performance management, etc.

  • Identify opportunities across the department to gain efficiencies, automate processes, and mature the organization

  • Partner with leadership peers to build a culture of collaboration, transparency, & accountability

  • Provide direction during the sales process about the training experience customers should expect when selecting Entrata

  • Oversee the coordination and implementation of all new hire & internal training programs

  • Assess, develop, and implement LMS, knowledge base, product certification tracks, and curriculum to support Entrata employees and customers

  • Interface with Product Management and Development teams in order to deliver accurate release notes on a weekly basis

  • Be an executive point of contact for designated Entrata customers

  • Ownership of national training events, including logistics, program/course planning, certification programs, and marketing of such events

  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in the use of technology with the ability to adapt to change and learn new software platforms

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University + a continual thirst for knowledge (Master’s degree preferred)

  • 5+ years of training experience in the software or high tech industry (SaaS training preferred)

  • Experience in the Multifamily housing industry and processes

Base Wage/Salary:

  • Annual Salary, DOE

  • PTO and paid holidays

Work Schedule and Location:

  • 8am-5pm Monday-Friday

  • Lehi, UT

  • Up to 65% Travel required - International Travel may be required
