Entrata’s Communications Director is a leader within the marketing organization who oversees our brand “voice” across a variety of marketing campaigns & initiatives. This role reliably meets individual and team goals by approaching challenges and roadblocks with creativity and a penchant for problem-solving. As the lead of our Marketing Communications team based in our Lehi, UT headquarters, the Communications Director must be an organized, motivated team player and an excellent copy writer and editor who is rock-solid reliable.
Responsibilities will include:
Lead a team of communication, PR, marketing, and design professionals.
Assist in the creation of digital, video, audio and print content.
Track engagement across various platforms and make data-driven decisions.
Establish and drive a multi-channel communications strategy.
Prepare and manage all communications material.
Develop brand voice and maintain brand integrity across all platforms.
Manage media relations and develop contacts with media members, influencers, and community leaders.
Manage presence at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Create a budget for the communications team and ensure compliance.
Create, edit, and update marketing copy to ensure Entrata’s brand appears consistently across white papers, blogs, press articles, print and email campaigns, web pages, videos, and sales collateral.
Reliably produce clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy.
Collaborate with Product Marketing and Event Marketing teams to plan and create timely and appropriately branded content.
Coordinate with Entrata’s Design team to effectively produce content that reflects Entrata’s visual brand.
Eight to 10 years’ experience copywriting and copyediting
A diverse portfolio of created content including examples of sales content, press articles, ads, emails, web content, video scripts, etc.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills (speaking and writing) to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with communications technologies
Understanding of copywriting, graphic design, layout, and publishing
Working knowledge of content management systems, HTML coding, and digital graphics production
Familiarity with social media platforms and social media marketing
Experience with search engine marketing, Google Analytics, and Google AdWords
Impeccable copywriting and copy editing abilities
Strong leadership track record
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
Bachelor's degree in Communications or English
Proficiency with both the AP Style Guide and Chicago Manual of Style
Experience in marketing and brand management
Experience creating content for audiences in the U.S. and India
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related discipline
5-plus years of communications, marketing or public relations or related experience
Experience managing digital content
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Established media relations a plus
