People Operations Manager

Job Description: 

The People Operations Manager is key to the success of Entrata’s People department. They report directly to our Chief People Officer and will serve as a thought partner and trusted advisor to lead the coordination, development, and execution of a cohesive People strategic plan in alignment with Entrata’s mission, vision, and priorities. A successful candidate must be able to simultaneously fill multiple roles at a high level to achieve the business objective and maintain company culture.


Responsibilities will include

  • Provide proactive and comprehensive executive level support to the CPO by triaging/determining priorities, managing deliverables, assigning/delegating tasks, and interacting on the CPO’s behalf with internal and external stakeholders

  • Manage and coordinate People department projects, communication, meetings, activities, including logistics, minutes, action items/deliverables for assigned departments teams, and provide limited support to department directors as assigned

  • Function as a member of the executive office team and the People management team, including cross-training and providing coverage for other members of both teams

  • Strategic planning and activation of Entrata people priorities; building scalable processes and rhythm enabling business impact

  • Monitor progress and champion prioritization and data driven results

  • Hold each stakeholder in the People department accountable for the reporting of their individual performance metrics and KPI’s, ensuring alignment with the People department and company goals; monitor progress and champion prioritization and data driven results

  • People team effectiveness and engagement; empower and connect the Entrata People team in the most optimal way. Enable a culture of community, learning and execution excellence, continually focusing on the People department mission statement and goals

  • Maximize partnerships with key stakeholders and partners; have an owner mindset across the department on all topics for increased business and HR impact

  • Close cross-departmental engagement with People, Finance, and relevant departments and company leadership

  • Provide administrative support to the CPO as needed; managing Gmail and calendar, answering questions, ordering and picking up lunch for meetings, etc.

  • Assist with the creation and execution of events as needed


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Substantial experience providing proactive and comprehensive support to senior/c-level HR executives with initiative and ability to anticipate needs, make recommendations,and take appropriate action. 

  • Highly organized with the ability to be flexible and work independently in managing complex projects and prioritizing and managing competing priorities and deadlines

  • Broad knowledge of all Human Resources disciplines with a demonstrated knowledge of employee relations, organizational development, mission and culture alignment

  • Strong teamwork and project coordination skills; and a confident ability to offer suggestions and improvements to process and work collaboratively with others.

  • Strong proficiency using business technology tools including Google Suite, Microsoft Offices suite products, project management, timekeeping, travel, expense reporting tools, etc.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with particular ability to professionally interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly


Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a team leadership role

  • HRCI or SHRM certification
