Job Description: 

The Director of Total Rewards is key to the success of Entrata’s People department and reports directly to our Chief People Officer.  This position is primarily responsible for defining and executing strategy for Entrata’s benefits, compensation, and recognition programs.  A successful candidate must be able to build and maintain competitive total rewards programs to attract and retain talent, stay abreast of market trends, and act as a subject matter expert in executive leadership interactions.

 

Responsibilities will include

  • Provide leadership and strategic planning, management, and ongoing evaluation of Total Rewards - including benefits, compensation, and payroll processing to meet business objectives

  • Design foundation of compensation strategy, including; benchmark job leveling, base pay, incentive pay and LTI against survey data and other market research to determine competitive compensation

  • Research total reward strategies in similar industries; maintain knowledge of trends and best practices; recommends changes or updates to the company's existing benefits or policies based on findings

  • Prepares and presents summary reports of benefits package, payroll & compensation analysis information to Accounting & Finance teams, department and executive leadership

  • Expanding a knowledgeable team to scale with company growth

  • Research, design and implement internal recognition programs & perks for national workforce

  • Oversee company-wide communications, internal and external audits and maintain accurate reporting requirements

  • Drive projects by involving necessary stakeholders, defining action items, and managing timely execution

  • Collaborate with People Experience, People Operations, and Talent Acquisition teams to empower and communicate changes in total rewards programs

  • Partner with the People and business leaders to ensure descriptions accurately reflect duties, responsibilities, and skills required by the role and necessary for business success

  • Act as subject-matter expert on applicable state and federal employment regulations, compensation policies, federal/state payroll tax rules & regulations

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing HR-related functions, specifically benefits programs, payroll processing, and compensation partners

  • Experience building job and salary architecture, with exposure to variable compensation for Sales & Professional roles

  • High level understanding of HR best practices, regulatory considerations, and impact to employee experience and culture

  • Experience with ADP WorkforceNow

  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with investor groups and executive leadership teams to align on business goals and design timely execution

  • One or more of the following certifications: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), HRCI/SHRM certification or any other job-related professional certification or education
