Job Description: 

The Associate Director of Training Content is key to the success of Entrata’s Training department and reports directly to our Director of Training. This position is primarily responsible for leading a team of technical writers, and Entrata’s team of instructional developers & designers. The Associate Director of Training Content is responsible for building out Entrata’s e-learning strategy that educates users on our product offering as well as how to successfully use our platform.  A successful candidate is knowledgeable on adult learning methodologies for on-demand learning, is highly motivated, innovative, and isn’t afraid of challenging the status quo with new ideas. 

 

Responsibilities will include

  • Demonstrated experience indirectly creating e-learning training content and written technical guides to support user learning experiences for SaaS company

  • Highly detail-oriented with an ability to review and edit content as a final owner

  • Define and manage KPIs to measure the success and to drive transparency into business outcomes and progress related to the Knowledge Management strategy

  • Strong project management and leadership skills with ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute, follow-up in a timely manner, anticipate problems and roadblocks, and meet target dates 

  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and a positive, solution-oriented attitude able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively shift gears to meet changing business requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to create cross-departmental relationships, lead projects with diverse teams, and influence decision making with senior-level audiences

  • Aggregates, standardizes, and manages all knowledge content

  • Driver of Voice of Customer by collecting and analyzing VoC data, building strategies to best meet the needs of our customers

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience

  • 5-7 years of e-learning content creation for a SaaS company

  • 2+ years of directly managing teams 

  • 2+ years of experience using eLearning development tools including Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate and Adobe After Effects

  • High EQ and ability to connect with others easily

  • Ability to motivate, reward, and create accountability in others

  • Positive, self-motivated, self-managed, and a finisher

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience with video production and editing using tools such as Premiere or Final Cut Pro

  • Experience with capturing images and using screen capture tools such as Snagit

  • Working knowledge of Content Management Systems, Knowledge Management Systems, Learning Management Systems and Help Center best practices
