Entrata’s Compensation Analyst is who we rely on to help review and improve compensation and total rewards philosophy through thoughtful research, planning, partnership, and execution of initiatives for Entrata’s compensation programs. As a part of our People Operations team based in Lehi, UT this role requires the ability to partner with Finance and other organizational leaders on compensation related matters. You will assist with designing, implementing and communicating our compensation programs to employees and managers.
Responsibilities will include
Benchmark job leveling, base pay, incentive pay and LTI against survey data and other market research to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
Prepares and maintains job classifications and salary scales.
Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
Researches compensation & retention strategies in similar industries; based on findings, recommends changes or updates to the company's existing benefits or policies.
Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information to department and executive leadership
Incorporate findings and recommendations into applicable databases for financial forecasting and analysis
Maintains knowledge of economic conditions, labor market, trends, developments, and best practices to make recommendations to business and ensure competitive scales and structures
Partner with the People team and business leaders to ensure descriptions accurately reflect duties, responsibilities, and skills required by the role and necessary for business success
Advises management on applicable state and federal employment regulations, compensation policies, and collective agreements.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, FInance or related field.
5+ years of experience in compensation, consulting, or related field in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Experience preparing, communicating, and presenting data and strategy recommendations to stakeholders
Prior experience with enterprise level design and implementation of compensation & commissions plans.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence decision makers.
One or more of the following certifications: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR)/SPHR, and/or any other job-related professional certification.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to extrapolate data to guide and advise.
