Entrata is looking for a dependable Billing Coordinator to ensure the company tracks incoming payments successfully and accurately, while also providing exceptional account management. Your job will be important for safeguarding our revenues. In this role, you will interact on a daily basis with our customers as well as your team. You’ll represent our company and brand in these interactions, so it’s important for us that you have excellent ‘people skills’, professionalism, and a positive attitude. The goal is to ensure the company charges its customers appropriately and collects payments in a timely manner.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure customers are billed correctly for services offered
Compile and process new billing accounts and contracts
Prepare and submit customer statements
Resolve billing questions from internal support departments and customers
Assist with monthly invoicing
Ideal candidate will:
Accounting experience or an education in accounting preferred and or equivalent experience
Must be technical, organized, and detail-oriented
Must be professional, friendly, and confident and be project this attitude over the phone while speaking to customers
Must be able to quickly and thoroughly learn our proprietary accounting software
Must be self-managed
Must be a quick learner
Customer service experience is a significant plus
Understand debits and credits
Must be proficient with Excel
Problem solving - Seeks all relevant facts. Analyze issues from different perspectives and draws sound conclusions from available data
Sound communication - Interpersonal and negotiating skills, including well-developed written and oral skills, and the ability to develop and deliver explanation to customers and other departments
Detailed oriented – Understands key relationship between different data sets and can insure data is complete, accurate, and consistent with expectations
