Job Description: 

Founded in 2003, Entrata® is the only comprehensive property management software provider with a single-login, open-access Platform as a Service (PaaS) system. Offering a wide variety of online tools including websites, mobile apps, payments, lease signing, accounting, and resident management, Entrata® PaaS currently serves more than 20,000 apartment communities nationwide, including 34 of the NMHC Top 50 Largest Managers. We are at a critical juncture in our growth, and we have a big vision for the future. This person will oversee and lead the procurement team and will partner with the executive team and other business leaders to design and implement procurement policies, processes, and systems.   This position will report to the CFO and will have visibility and interaction with senior leadership at Entrata.

 

Responsibilities will include

  • Partner with the CFO, executive team and business leaders to design and implement our procurement policies, processes, and systems

  • Partner closely with business leaders on RFP processes and negotiation of commercial terms in vendor agreements to ensure favorable terms and proper risk mitigation 

  • Evaluate existing vendor and partner contracts for opportunities to generate spend efficiencies or mitigate future cost increases

  • Work closely with FP&A and Accounting to ensure proper expense and coding

  • Work closely with the Legal team on contract reviews

  • Conduct ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • You have 5-7+ years of progressive procurement leadership experience (preferably within SAAS)

  • You have a strong understanding of finance concepts

  • You are a problem solver, who likes to build and improve processes

  • You are a self-starter and an original thinker

  • You are a team player and want to work with a world-class team

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, influence and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong knowledge of key contractual terms for various contact types and excellent negotiation skills

  • Outstanding customer service skills

  • Experience with implementation and management of procure to pay systems (preferably with Coupa or a similar system)

  • Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required

  • SAAS industry experience preferred

  • Experience with multi-national companies

  • Attention to detail and good time management skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
