Job Description: 

Entrata’s Project Manager II plays a key role in documenting, managing and leading client implementation projects.  They should work to gain confidence and trust with everyone they interact with, by having a team focus to deliver a world-class customer experience.  To succeed in this position an individual must have the ability to lead and motivate internal and external stakeholders and be able to solve problems and complete projects accurately and timely.  A Project Manager II needs to have a commitment to quality and uncompromising excellence.   They need to demonstrate ownership and accountability, have the ability to clearly communicate expectations and risks, and be skilled in developing interpersonal relationships.  In addition to maintaining a full portfolio of projects, a Project Manager II should be able to stay actively involved in personal and professional improvement, peer mentoring, and be working to improve and develop the processes of the Implementation department. 

 

Responsibilities:

 
  • Run point on High/Mid/Low-level projects.

 
  • Mentor other Project Managers, as assigned by the Associate Director(s).

 
  • Lead and participate in internal projects, within the Implementation Department, as well as inter-department projects, as assigned by the Associate Director(s) and Director of Project Management.   

 
  • Continually increase product knowledge, by staying up to date on product offerings, features and functionality.  Entrata offers a number of training options and opportunities through virtual training, user guides and in-person product updates.

 
  • Continually increase project management skills and professional development.  Various online resources are available to help develop and hone project management specific skills, as well as general professional competencies.

 
  • PM II is expected to be a leader of their Projects and a leader within their Project Management Team.  They are expected to demonstrate advanced skills in Project Management Performance, by maintaining a consistently positive customer and internal survey scores.  

 
  • PM II is expected to demonstrate an advanced understanding of the Implementation Process.  They are to frequently review and update the department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Desired Skills and Experience:

 
  • 2+ years of demonstrable B2B project management experience in SaaS project implementation.

    • 1+ years as a project manager at Entrata.

 
  • CAPM Certification <or> Bachelor’s Degree <or> 5+ Years of demonstrable B2B project management experience.

 
  • Ability to speak to many aspects of project management methodology, and ability to mentor other Project Managers.    

 
  • Strong understanding of project management tools and deliverables such as project plans, work breakdown structure, risk register, issue logs, etc.

 
  • Strong presentation skills, have the ability to present technical or detailed  information to all levels of a customer’s organization in a highly impactful manner.

 
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate both internally and externally to get things done and manage expectations.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

 
  • No direct personnel supervisory duties, although management of projects includes directing projects related activities of the project team.

 

Work Environment:

 
  • This job generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.  Monthly team activities could provide a variety of out-of-office opportunities 

 

Travel:

 
  • Travel will be limited, but could be required based on client needs.  The expectations would be to travel on average 3-6 times per year.  The anticipated length of each opportunity to travel would be 4 business days.
