Entrata’s fifth annual user Summit brought together more than 350 multifamily professionals at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah. The event kicked off today with keynotes from CEO Dave Bateman and President Chase Harrington. They shared highlights of Entrata’s growth over the past year and plans for future development to a sold out audience.
After ten straight years of exponential revenue growth Entrata now boasts more than 3.3 million units using its platform. Today, nearly 500K units, over five percent of industry market share, use Entrata Core (Leasing, Rents and Accounting). More than half of student housing’s top providers are on Entrata Core. In one year, Entrata has processed $20 billion in payments with Entrata’s ResidentPay, up from $18 billion last year. On Sept. 4, the company moved a record-breaking $1 billion in a single day.
The company organization is also growing. In the last twelve months, Entrata has hired more than 100 new employees and opened a new 106,000 square foot national headquarters in Lehi, Utah. Harrington also announced plans to expand operations to Canada.

Summit attendees heard outlines for more than 20 technology updates and enhancements made over the last year in response to client feedback. These updates ranged from new custom reporting tools to new solutions for managing commercial, HUD. tax credit properties, and privatized military housing.
Entratamation, now in beta testing, was a hot topic, as participants learned about planned features to bridge the gap between property management software and smart devices. Entrata announced that clients now have access to LeadManager’s new lead management and lead scoring tools, ResidentVerify’s updated applicant screening capabilities, and free SSL certifications across all ProspectPortal websites. Entrata continues to add functionality to its residentPortal app, and residents can now interact with ResidentPortal via Amazon’s Alexa.
